The New Office Taking Shape

Well it's been a busy few weeks. The new office is starting to take shape and in a bit over a week I'll be moving in. Some of you may know already AUTOsports is one of my businesses. My main business is actually web design so this new space is going to be part office part car hang out. The back section with the window will be the office. The front section will be workshop, although it will only fit one car.

Anyway, we've painted the completely rotten window (when I was vacuuming up the vacuum cleaner actually sucked out a piece of termite infested wood - of which there is a heap) which looks great against the new black floor. We were tossing up whether to sand the timber back but it's just so much work, especially as we don't own the place. The main thing is that we get a nice office space in the middle of the city (sydney) and somewhere to work on some projects.

So we've got some high gloss white bench tops coming next week which will serve as desks to go along the left side of the office. The right side will be storage/kitchen but the whole thing will remain open plan. The right hand 'cage' will be covered in white painted plywood to keep the crisp theme going.
